Thank you to the following for attending our March meeting, Wes Ahlberg, Paul & Jean Chilberg, Steve, Rosemary, Craig  Blaede, Chris Dickson, Jim  Finn, Bob & Peggy Moerke, Kent Oliver, Ray Rodenwald, Carl & Jillane Wegner.

Spring is here!!!! Hello Arrowhead Chapter members, friends and old car enthusiasts, the April meeting was held on April 22, 2017, we met at the Hermantown Administration Building at 9:00 AM toured to the Eagles Nest Restaurant on Fish Lake for breakfast and a short meeting.

I also would like to mention Steve Blaede aka (my father) is proceeding on the restoration of a 1973 Ford F350 pickup which was made by Ford especially for the Ford American Road Camper. Ford labeled it a Super Camper Special, with a 140 wheelbase, dual gas tanks, separate compartment for the spare tire and either a 390 or 460 cubic inch Ford engine. The Ford American Road Camper was built for Ford by Starcraft with only about 850 of the campers being made due to the early 1970s energy crisis.

My folks bought one of the campers new in 1974 and to this day remember many camping trips with it. The pickup was sold new in San Diego, CA and dad is the second owner. He had both the pickup and the Ford American Road Camper shipped from Los Angeles, CA to Carlton, MN.

Just a reminder the Arrowhead Chapter Mystery Tour is coming up in May, also we will have a joint meet with the Grand Rapids Itasca Vintage Car Club in June, hope to see you there.

Thank you to the following for attending the Breakfast meeting, Steve & Rosemary Blaede, Gerry & Connie Broman, Paul Chilberg, Jim & Linda Finn, Bob Moerke.

See you at the next Antique Car Club event.
